How do I register my devices in Apple's DEP?

The first thing you'll need is an Apple ID. This will allow RM to register you with Apple as an end user.

If you don't yet have an Apple ID, you can enroll on https://school.apple.com/ . When your organisation enrolls in Apple School Manager, you will receive an email from Apple after your enrollment is approved. After this requirement is completed, you have a few options for registering your devices:

When ordering Apple devices from RM:
  1. Send your school's Apple ID to your Account Manager at RM or the sales contact when you place a purchase order for iPad, iMac, Mac mini or Macbook.
  2. Our team will get the devices enrolled for you.
  3. You will see the devices appear in your Apple School Manager within 24 hours.
To enroll devices purchased at an earlier date from RM:
  • Self-enroll :
    1. Log in to Apple School Manager
    2. Click Settings, then click Device Purchases.
    3. Next to DEP Reseller IDs, click Add. If you bought from RM after April 2017, please enter the DEP Reseller ID 2688490*, if you bought before then, please enter Reseller ID 48B7900
    4. Enter your number or ID.
    5. Click Save.

*If you enter a DEP Reseller ID, you also need to provide your DEP Customer ID to RM when doing this.

  • If you have an Account Manager at RM or are a Flex customer:
    1. Contact your Account Manager to request DEP. For this you must provide the following information:
      • Your Apple ID
      • PO Number.
      • The device(s) serial numbers - if you are a Flex customer, the support team will obtain this for you.
    2. You will receive a notification when the registration is complete.
  • All prices shown are subject to VAT & delivery unless stated.
  • RM reserves the right to change specifications and prices.
